Starts with a Vest
Bulletproof (often abbreviated to BP) is a Town-aligned role that starts with a vest, allowing it survive one kill attempt against it. Once this attempt occurs, the Bulletproof will be informed that their vest has broken. If multiple kills go through against it, the vest will only protect from one.

The Bulletproof is a somewhat powerful town role, as it can deny the mafia members a single kill, and then be able to claim once they have done so, for maximum benefit. An unskilled bulletproof player may find themselves having to claim to avoid a condemn, though. The Bulletproof is significantly less powerful than a Doctor when other roles are around because it does not have the inherent strength in denying mafia's ability to kill other roles. Without roles to protect though, the Bulletproof can be more powerful.
The Bulletproof's vest is an item, and can be stolen & broken. As such, roles that can steal or break vests are often used to counteract many Bulletproofs in designing a setup.
